Fashion Decisions

The Night of 1,000 Gowns gala is this Saturday night and Shania Rendezvous gave us an EXCLUSIVE LOOK at what she is thinking for her fashion decisions:

"The pic of Mia Miaesto (left) is the Badgley Mischka gown I will be wearing with gold accessories."

"I adore the way they did the makeup at the Valentino show with gold on the inside of the eye..."

"...with a strong berry dark lip a la Scarlett on the cover of Vogue."

"I will be wearing my hair in twist with a black headband with gold metal like Joley Richardson with a messy chignon in the back so my face has to look FLAWLESS since my hair will not be the focus."

Spring is in the air and the season makes everyone think of Paris. Ralph, an Irvine, CA GOOL-ie is lucky enough to go this week but has some help from GOOL on his fashion decisions:

Dear GOOL,
I have to say that I'm in love with your blog! I read it all the time and I havehalf of my office reading it also and they are straight married men that loveyour blog. I have a dilemma that I know you guys can help me with. I'm leavingfor my first trip to France next Tuesday and it will be my 1st European tripever (hard to believe right?) It's going to be a short trip because I'm just tagging along with my boyfriend on his business trip but I'm totally lost on what to wear. It's going to be cold during the day and night, not like the weather I'm used to now in So. Cal where it's about 85 degree's right now. I know we're going to be going out at night to a few bars and clubs and I just wanted to know what the general dress code is. Is it dressy, casual, tight t-shirt and jeans....I'm totally lost and during the day we will be walking a lot so I figured tennis shoes but I don't want to stand out like a sore thumb wearing something ugly... Please help guys I'm totally lost!

GOOL RESPONSE:

Dear Ralph, While the difference between style in New York and Paris isn't too far off, the difference between S. Ca style and Paris can be quite different. Sneakers are definately cool to wear for sightseeing, but not square-toe Diesel sneakers, we're talking like Converse or Vans-type sneakers. Jeans, as always should be straight leg and on the darker side for both day and night. We love FACEHUNTER for hipster style. Start here to get inspired and have a GREAT TRIP! Take pics and share with GOOL when you get back!

Guess we are on a country kick cuz we recently told you about SHUP UP AND SING, our new favorite country movie. If we gotta listen to country MUSIC, it's gotta be this song!

We love her alchie boyfriend in the video!
