Dear Susan - who has been at paper for nearly a year now - has conjured up his biggest event to date with Paper's 25th anniversary party.Here's a look at what went down....

but the real moments came when susan's seemingly oddly paired talent came on the stage:

first djs andrew andrew opened for marc ronson

meanwhile, the door was (wo)manned by the one and only Madam Shapiro, who helped set up a MAJORINA moment. Liza and Queen Latifah meeting for the first time... overheard from Latifah "I can't beleive this is happening ... you are legendary, gurl!". Overheard from Liza... "Queen! I'm a huge fan! Loved you in Chicago, babe! What was your favorite song? Maybe we should sing "Nowadays" together soon? Whatdya say, kiddo? HA! So what ya gonna do - a little singin'? A little rappin" Queen's response: "watching you, sister"

and queen latifah sang some new stuff and - per my pleading - sang UNITY!


but the real moment happened when the show was closed out by the one and only liza minnelli. the crowd literally was silenced and then lost their vulvas in hysteria when she sang New York, New York to close the show commemorating the first issue of paper - which was misprinted "New York, New York PAPER" (instead of the other way around with the masthead on top



but here is the kicker. please look who walked her onto the stage and is standing on the right. that's right ladies, and female genders....
