The Launch of Miss Gurungi

Last Sunday, Miss Gurungi moved her whole collection to Soomy's.
We originally thought that she was holding just one day of fittings at Soomy's for the collection which was to be shown later in the week at the gorgeous Flag Art Foundation...

But, we soon realized that one day would turn into 4 looooooong loooooong days of castings, makeup tests, production meetings etc.

I had no idea how involved I was going to get, not only in the process but in the entire production. Miss Gurungi designed beautiful clothing but we (Soomy, Miss Yassky, Tanlines, Tyler and countless volunteers) TURNED IT OUT for Miss Gurungi!

Miss Gurungi's collection became a family affair with all our SFL's (Sisters For Life) contributing in some way or another as well as Miss Gurungi's biological sis Kumudini heading up PR...
