Nic Screws is MAJOR....and EVERYTHING!

This is the story of Soomy and Nic. Over the last 12 weeks Soomy has been serving as the Market Editor of Esquire's Big Black book. Here, he was thrown together with a team of people he didn't really know. One of the biggest surprises was NIC SCREWS, basically the female version of SOOMY! This post is dedicated to one of the sweetest, craziest, most hyper, best editors, dedicated, silliest, loving, most passionate gals in the biz.

Here are some of the reasons that we love Nic :

Nic Screws and Soomy worked so hard, the would arrive early and stay late at the Hearst Tower

But, once Nic Screws leaves the office, she has one thing on her mind. The Gators.

She even taught Soomy the Gator chop...(PS luka luka heeem)

Very early in their relationship, Nic escorted SOOMY to pick up his VIP tix to Madonna and the entire time she sang MADONNA, MADONNA, MADONNA!

She's so brilliant she spotted Al Roker while we were in the cab on the way to get the tix

We have always loved a girl that is not afraid to pose with her FRUITS!

Screws is also major IN THE CLOSET! She turns a messy, cluttered closet...

Into a major urganized everything room!

She's even cute when she puts on her sneaks after a long hard day of apurntments! The UGGZ though, not so sexy!

Speaking of apurntments, she is a wonderful team mate whether it be lending her hand when we had to document all the belts at Versace...

or going to H&M and taking pics of SOOMY's options for his Halloween costume...

She loved diversions to Ricky's to pick her hurrr weave for Halloween!

She holds a mean hanger!

...and takes a meaner picture!

She's a sucker for Vuitton

...especially the Mah Jong case!

She loves to look at womens, even though we cover menzzzzz...

She helped make our signs for the protest...(even if they WERE made out of a paper bag out of the closet)...

...and not nearly as fierce as the real signs!

She loves to talk loud on the subway on the way to appurtments and

she HATES getting stuck on the subway car with the Mariachi band

She's a loyal boss/friend shlepping to Brooklyn to watch Esquire's major Fashion Assistant Mike play...

....the druuuuums!

She wears silly hats but looks cute in them...

She loves to make SOOMY hyper at appurtments!

She so VERY professional!

In all seriousness, we just adore Nicolette Screws, Nix Cruz, nickiepie, whatever you wanna call her and we are going to miss her so so so much after this week when we finish shooting Big Black Book Spring '09!
