Madonna The Beat Goes On
Our favorite Fire Island DJ sent us Madonna's new single, on which she collaborated with Pharell. It is getting mixed reviews all over the net. We have listened to it a few times so far, and you queens know that we are HUGE Madonna fanz, but we have to say, it sounds terrible during the chorus when she goes higher. It's possible it will grow on us because it is a little catchy but it's definately not having the same effect HUNG UP, SORRY or JUMP had on us. Not to mention the beginning sounds exactly like Justin Timberlake. Jeez Pharell!

The more I listen to the song the more I like it... It's nothing fantastic. It sounds like almost anything that Pharrell produces... acoustic guitars over a synthesizer.
It doesn't really get me up and moving like other first singles, but maybe her video and branding that goes along with it will help out.
I mean, she's Madonna; she can do no wrong.
hmmm.... I agree with Patrick. It's nothing special. Kind of reminds me of all of Nelly F.'s latest songs.
but, once again in agreement... she can do no wrong.
i worry that the American Life nightmare would happen all over the again.
